Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information De La Vega Law receives through the site, why it is used, which services process it, and how long it is retained in its different systems.
Information we receive
Consultation forms allow you to share the initial information the team needs to review the request and coordinate follow-up.
- Name, phone number, email address, and contact preferences.
- Full address, including country of residence, street, apartment or suite, city, state or province, and postal code.
- Date and country of birth, marital status, and Alien Number (A-Number / USCIS), when applicable.
- Information about entry into the United States, immigration history, prior filings, hearings, and criminal history or arrests.
- A description of the situation and documents you choose to attach for initial review.
- Do not submit Social Security numbers, passwords, banking details, or full passport images through the initial form.
How information is used
De La Vega Law uses the information to receive, protect, and review the request, communicate with you, and coordinate the appropriate next step.
- Review the initial request and classify the type of immigration matter.
- Contact the person who submitted the information through authorized channels.
- Coordinate a possible consultation or request additional information if needed.
- Protect the site, detect abuse, and check attached documents before delivery.
- Submitting information through the site does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.
Services involved in processing
The site uses service providers and technical tools to operate its features. Each service receives only the information needed for its function.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the site; Turnstile helps distinguish human submissions from automated traffic and may process technical device and connection information.
- Google Maps Platform and Places provide address suggestions. When you use that feature, Google may receive the address text entered and associated technical data.
- Microsoft 365 transmits and stores requests in the firm's mailbox for review and follow-up.
- Attached documents undergo an automated security scan before they are delivered to the team.
Leo and personal data
Leo provides general guidance and does not accept names, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, identification numbers, documents, or other personal data.
- Do not share personal information or documents with Leo.
- Use the consultation form to send information directly to the De La Vega Law team.
- Using Leo does not create an attorney-client relationship or replace review by an attorney.
Security and retention
The site keeps an encrypted local record of each request for operations, diagnostics, and limited recovery. The contents of attached documents are not stored in that local record.
- The encrypted local record is retained for 50 days and removed from local operational storage after that period.
- Requests and documents delivered to the Microsoft 365 mailbox are retained separately under the firm's mailbox policy; the 50-day period does not delete those email copies.
- The site applies encryption to the local record and access controls, but no digital system can guarantee absolute security.
Choices and contact
You may contact De La Vega Law to correct information, clarify your contact preferences, or make a request related to your data.
- You may ask the team to use a specific channel when reasonable.
- You may tell the team if submitted information is incomplete or incorrect.
- You may choose not to submit information through the site and call the office directly at +1 (305) 456-3474.
- Data-related requests are reviewed under applicable legal and operational obligations.
